What you’ll learn

Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program instills in students the ability to apply knowledge gained through study of information systems theories to real world business needs and challenges to meet the needs of today’s information economy. Under the guidance of practitioner faculty, the graduate students will use innovative digital materials to understand the development and management of business systems within the organization, to understand and apply the principles of systems analysis and design, to analyze and evaluate emerging information technologies, and to create project, risk, and information systems strategic plans.

The Core Requirements are a set of common courses necessary for the wide-ranging education of students pursuing a master’s degree in a given field. KKMII-Stratford offers 7 core courses with every Master of Information Science program. Communal learning is at the center of our Core Requirements which allows all students to encounter the same texts and hold critical dialogue with each other.
